Tutu, designed by Valerio Bottin in 2001, wraps a single curved sheet of glossy white blown glass around two candelabra lamps, like a light veil gathered around the wall. The diffuser is held away from the wall on slim metal pins, so its flared, slightly tapered outline reads almost as a piece of fabric caught mid-movement.
The sconce can be installed with the wider opening facing up or down, sending a strong wash of light across the wall in one direction while the glass itself glows with a warm, diffuse light. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms where a soft, decorative wall light is wanted.
