The Nuro table lamp is playful in the best sense, a totem of stacked shapes in glass, metal and marble. A glossy khaki glass vessel rises from a dark metal plate into a mustard-yellow cone, then a slim crossbar tipped with two brass-toned balls, a black sphere and a pair of banded marble rings beneath a black drum shade. Designed by Nacho Timon, it has the spirit of postmodern design without feeling like a costume. It takes a standard bulb and dims with a dimmable one; try it on an office desk or a living room console.
