Miasun is a portable sunshade that sets up in under 90 seconds, for the beach, the park or the backyard. It weighs about 1.2 kg and folds small enough to fit in a bag or carry-on, then opens into roughly 3 m² of shade, enough for two adults and two children.
Designed by Valériane Voirin and Hortense Pontabry, it pairs a cotton canvas with lightweight folding aluminium poles and can be pitched three different ways. The canvas offers UPF 30+ protection, blocking 96% of UV rays. Remove the cords and pegs before washing on a 30°C cycle, dry it in the open air and do not tumble dry or iron; the cotton colours soften over time with use and washing.
