In “Cabin Fever I” and “Cabin Fever II” artist Dana De Ano distills the restless stillness of isolation into two quietly powerful mixed-media compositions. Layered textures and abstract gestures emerge from expanses of negative space, evoking shifting landscapes-half-remembered fields, distant treelines, or fragments of memory suspended in air.
Through delicate interplay of pigment, graphite, and collage, De Ano captures the tension between motion and stillness, interior and exterior, control and surrender. The restrained palettes-muted earth tones, blacks, and hints of rust-speak to both solitude and resilience. Framed with intention and negative space that breathes around each piece, Cabin Fever I & II invite contemplation, suggesting that even in confinement, creativity and reflection find room to expand.
